Last updated: 12 October 2026
This notice explains information handled through this website and when you contact P C Autos Midlands Ltd about our services. The website provides information about our independent Jaguar workshop; it has no customer account, online checkout or enquiry form.
Who is responsible
P C Autos Midlands Ltd is the controller for information you provide to the business. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16899556. Our registered office is 7 Brookfield Road, Walsall, England, WS9 8JJ. The workshop is at Westgate, Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 8EX, inside Phoenix Consortia.
For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email contact@pcautos.co.uk, call 07572 991977, or write to our registered office.
Information and purposes
- Enquiries: if you call or email, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, telephone number, email, vehicle details and requested work. We use these to respond and arrange requested services. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or performing that contract; general enquiries are handled for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Website delivery and security: hosting and delivery providers necessarily receive technical connection information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times, to deliver and protect the website. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website.
- Privacy preferences: a browser-storage record holds your choice, its version, the date and expiry. It is used only to respect that choice.
- Optional film: only after you enable it, your browser contacts Amazon CloudFront to retrieve the workshop film. Connection information is received by that provider. We use consent for this optional external-media request. You can withdraw it using Cookie settings.
Do not send payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information by ordinary email. You can browse without providing enquiry details; we may need contact and vehicle information to answer a specific request.
Tracking and external links
This website does not enable advertising pixels, audience analytics, embedded maps or social-media widgets. Its code does not sell or share visitor information for targeted advertising, or carry out automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals keep optional media disabled.
Google Maps, Google reviews and other external sites are ordinary links. They do not load as embedded services here. If you follow a link, the destination operates under its own privacy and cookie policies.
Providers and international processing
Our website hosting provider handles the technical information necessary to serve and secure these pages. The optional film is delivered through Amazon CloudFront. These providers handle technical information involved in delivering their services. Email and telephone providers also handle communications when you contact us. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Infrastructure providers may process technical data outside the UK, including in countries with different privacy laws. The applicable provider agreements, processing locations and transfer arrangements determine the safeguards available. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. Declining optional media prevents the separate film request; it does not remove the technical processing necessary to deliver the website itself.
How long information is kept
The website preference expires after 180 days, or earlier if you clear your browser storage. Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond, follow up requested work and deal with relevant complaints or legal claims. When an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, necessary service and financial records are subject to applicable accounting, tax and legal requirements. The criteria are the purpose of the record, whether the enquiry or work is ongoing, and any applicable legal retention or claim period. Hosting and delivery logs are subject to the providers’ retention arrangements; ask us for the details relevant to a particular request.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. Contact us using the details above. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Under UK data-protection law, we normally respond within one month; where a permitted extension applies, we will explain it.
You can raise a concern with us and complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You may also have the right to contact your local privacy regulator. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by this notice.
Children and updates
This is a general information website for vehicle owners, not a service directed at children. If you believe a child has provided information unnecessarily, contact us. We update this notice when the website or its data use changes; the date above identifies this version.
